Did you know that pina colada is the official drink of Puerto Rico? Pina means pineapple in and colada means strained in Spanish. Pina colada is usually a rum-based cocktail made with light rum, coconut cream and pineapple juice. Did you know that virgin pina colada (without the rum) is also called piñata colada.

This raisin cinnamon bread recipe is very simple. Actually I made it because my husband wanted to make some French toast with it. So here I am…and with the slittle Zojirushi bread machine sure it is very easy. Have your butter ready!

Ingredients:

2/3 cup of water
2 cups bread flour
1 ½ tablespoons sugar
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons dry milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon yeast
1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup raisins

Method:

Place the water first at the bottom of the bucket and add all the dry ingredients except for the cinnamon and raisins. I like to add the raisins and cinnamon 3 minutes after it beeps, so the raisin is no “totally crushed” by the kneading blade. After the addition of the raisins and cinnamon let the machine continues its cycle. Enjoy your bread while is warm or store in the refrigerator for French toast.
